Stuck in first time setup

I recently finished Mafia 3 and quite enjoyed it, i've always been a very big fan of the 1900 to the the 1950's so i thought i'd give give Mafia 2 a go. I just installed it 20 minutes ago, and went ahead and launched it right away, yet i have been stuck on Performing first time setup. Step 1 of 4. And it also starts up a large readme with minimum and maximum specs. Any advice?

Its funny, i went ahead and fired another game. And for some reason Mafia fired up succefully instead. I don't know exacly what it was tho.

ur gonna love mafia II if u liked mafia III. playing mafia 2 u will probs hate mafia III because 2 is super good

Honestly, if you use Nvidia and already have your drivers up to date before you launch the game for the first time you can just delete the 3rd folder in the game installation directory as it will try to install an older version of Nvidia PhysX. And its very likely your DirectX version is supported by the game already. I always delete the third party software folders provided I have said software installed already with a newer version.

And it pass all 5 steps
