chapter 9 ladder bug

i m at chapter 9 where you have to follow luca to slaughter house.İ followed him after that got into the sewer but after i got the end of the sewer i couldnt climb the ladder .İt said press e to use the ladder i pressed it like 5,8 sec nothing happened.İ tried changing the action key nothing happened didnt see any similar problem anywhere a help would be nice

edit:i reinstalled the game it works now
