Agreed and I have already told him that we need fg,punt,fakes. It would be nice for other trick plays as well like direct snaps and flea flickers.
That was a topic of discussion last year actually but I wasn't sure how or if he would do it. Throw power is based on the speed of bullet passes atm. My proposal was have the circle go only so far based on the throw power but again not sure if he wants to implement this. I think it would be great though and force more strategy.
At one point, maybe not this year. I think he does need to do something with it. I'm pretty positive he'll look at a solution as he begins adding more stats to the game.
Yes additional stats are a must especially for the dline. We need to have stats for all the dline moves addtionally the olineman needs counters.
One of my biggest grips with Madden is for someone reason you can put a player on the field with 20 RR and he'll still make perfect cuts. I understand the base reason of the stat at least for Madden is to counteract DBs Man Coverage stat. But I think it should serve dual purpose.
Dbs are usually completly out of position when you call man coverage. Definitely a lot of work for Danny in the passing department.
Please for the love of all things good have this be optional. I don't buy certain simulation games such as OOTP sports games because it is just a pain the butt to deal with all that crap.
Also will there be proper schedules such as having a 16 game season to play and not playing the same team too many times in season?
Other stuff to fix ....
1. Sack exploit that is pretty apparent in the game right now from what I saw in a video.
2. Penalties being put in the game needs to happen. It is hard to want to play a football game without that.
3. Situations where it looks like it should be a catch and it isn't and situations where a ball definitely should be picked off based on what you see is a problem with the game right now. Animations need to be worked on for sure.

Focus on the basics first please.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE include real franchise mode in 2017. Drafts, salaries, player attributes and attribute progression (training camp +/old age -) are mandatory for a decent franchise mode. Enabling tradesa and draft pick trades is a good idea, too for franchise mode.
Multiplayer also is important but the sim part of playing football needs to feel and play correct before going there.
