This is happening way to frequently now. I spend 15 to 30 min filling up my net and go to haul it in and it stops the top bar progression just as it get to the get into position circle. So I have to spend another length of time trawling and praying it works the next time....

Same here.
Progression Bar stops at "Get into Position" and then nothing is happening.
Made e second run an at 2nd haul in the Doors jumped over the front of ship into oblivion.
Gamebreaking bug. Only option is to load a older savegame.

It has happened to me at least 4 times today. I try and save just before I pull the net but when I reload my darn net is TOTALLY empty!

Some people have reported that when you get stuck in the "get into position" mode, put the throttle to full power and wait a bit, apparently it "shakes" the ship lose and then the progression bar continues. This bug only happened to me once and I was unable to test if it works.

lol well I spoke too soon. I just got the bug hauling in my last net before heading into port. Putting the throttle to full power does work. It took a little bit but it did pop into position and load the trawl net.

Thank you for the INFO I will test it next time it happens. This alone has cost me about 2 hours today alone!

I found it seems to work faster if you go full rev for about 10 seconds then go flank speed forward it frees up pretty fast.

This is happening to me. I can't haul because it keeps getting stuck on 'Get into position'. The throttle is stuck too, so I can't speed up/slow down to free it. Have tried waiting and going in circles and changing view and random clicking, but nothing seems to work.

Can't pay off the massive loan if I can't catch any fish, which makes me unable to progress in the game

Hi, sorry for the issue, i am testing it here and cannot see the issue, just done a few trawl without issues ..

When finished trawling and you press trhe haul trawl button, then the animation starts (the green progress, or it does not start ? ) and nothing more happens ? Please explain some more so we can get this sorted ..

Chris, after you press the haul trawl button, the animation does start! However, it freezes about 7/8th of the way stopping just before the 2nd portion of the animation starts.

Yes, the green bar starts, but then stops just before the second part begins.

Ok, thanks for the information .. Testing it out here now, is this everytime for you or more randomly ? I have problem recreating it but I continue looking into it, any more info please share it ..

Maybe you could send me your save game so i can test that ? .zip the folder: %localappdata%/fbs/Saved/Savegames/ and upload somewhere or email to [e-mail] - Would like to get this problem sorted out ..

The first time I took out the Lunar Bow I managed to get 3 or 4 hauls before it seized up. I tried everything I could think of to free it, but no luck. So I loaded up the autosave from when the boat is about to enter the deep ocean and tried again. This time it seized up first haul. So I went back to a manual save from when I first bought the ship and I managed to get 1 haul in okay, but the 2nd bugged out. All the times I have tried since then it has seized up first time.

The net gets stuck, the throttle is stuck, and the crew can't be moved, but I can turn the ship left/right and most other things seem to still work fine. Just stuck endlessly hauling.

I will try to send you my save file.

Excellent, got the saves, testing it out now @Cags76
