is there a bug on the long line bouys?

it does it on the 3 boats i have--the bouys go red then yellow But not green ---you go past them 4 or 5 time -going backwards past them---go to the other end bouy does the same --then all of a sudden it goes green----it does the same with a crew hauling as well----buy the time you get to haul-- the other lines have gone back to light green -----am i doing something wrong -

Its all time based. A buoy turns blue at 18 hours 40 minutes and stays blue for a few hours. Then it will go green because its been out a little too long. The longer it stays out past that mark it will go orange, then red, eventually disappearing if you dont haul it.

hi terry the problem ive got is when you go to pick up the long line bouys---you bring your boat up next to the bouy -it goes red then yellow and support to go green--then it lets you haul in the line---lately its not going green till you have tryed 4 or 5 times--going forward and backwards or going to the other end of line and trying there--then all of a sudden it go green--wavey and stormieis realy bad---have you heard if its bugged?

I've never heard of a bug like that. You say its really wavey and stormy, that makes it extremely hard to get lined up right. Also I have seen the lines get stuck up in the air on days with wind over 20 mph. I just skip those days in harbor or try to time it so I'm putting lines out on those days and hauling them in the next day.
I always had issues with one boat(think it was the Sjarken but wouldnt swear to it) having a much smaller "hit box" than the other boats when it comes to how far away I could be to haul a line.

terry is right, it's your alignment to the buoys that is the cause.
lower winds and waves make it much easier, the best method is to try to have the buoy right beside the hull.

i dont know but im losing 1 or 2 longlines every trip i make lossing a lot more money than im making is this suppose to happen or is it a bug

Not really giving us much information. You can lose longlines/nets if you leave them out too long so I guess that's what's happening to you.
