But I can't move the external camera around by holding left button.
And in FPV I cant turn around or operate any of the necessary buttons by pointing the marker to button and using E.
Boat is Hermes on version 1.1.4.1.
I don't know if it is related to patching....
for the FPV tho, it should be free aim.
Mouse drivers, everything normal ?
Had big trouble with moving camera in external view. Also in FPV, I couldn't turn or tilt the view up down with the mouse. This was my first trouble with this around July 10'th (look earlier post).
Then on same machine a bit later, everything worked the way it should. Camera could be moved, FPV was also controllable with the mouse. I have tried to find out if there was something on my machine which causes this or if it is different patches of the game or even the OS (win10).
I was not able to find out what caused it to work.
And now it has stopped working again. Status is like July 10'th.
And I still can't find out what causes the trouble.
* I have reset the key-bindings to defaults
* Tried different video-moduses (windowed, fullscreen, resolution...)
* Tried with a fresh profile (not loaded saved one)
* Have not found any pattern to windows-patches or game-patches.
At the same time, mouse-function works in the OS and other programs.
And also elsewhere in the game. Its just the camera-control and FPV-control of the person that does not work.
I don't think I will be able to progress any further on my own with this problem.
borderless / full / windowed ?
- could another application take priority or something alike of you inputs ?
- Do you have more than one language for you keyboard (it can change keybinding but I dont see why it would do anything to mouse tho)
- Do you have a cat (they like mouse wires) :P
- is there another controller plugged-in, another wireless mouse or a controller, disconnect them?
- Alt-tab // alt-enter (toggle active aplication, toggle fullscreen)
- second screen, mouse is in 2nd screen ?
edit: IOS -> win10 emulation could be a cause maybe? (using win10 here w/o dualboot)
* borderless, I don't know how to manipulate
* I have just the game running,. And of course all the services. So lot's of things could grab the mouse-input. But at the same time, mouse works everywhere else in the game.
* just one language. I dont think it should do anything with the mouse-inputs.
* no mouse or cats, but I do have a wired mouse.
* just the wired mouse plugged in
* alt-tab, ant alt-enter has been tested
* just the lapttop-screen and mouse plugged into port directly on laptop
* win10 is installed directly as the only os on the laptop (no virtualisation)
It is however not the end of the world.
I just have to wait long enough and it will fix itself :-)
It was Comondo antivirus suite.
It launched the game in some kind of a sandbox. The only indication I got was a small green frame around the window. Everything worked except the mouse movements on camera and first-person-view.
The comodo was uninstalled.
After launching the game, the green frame around the windows was not there.
And everything worked as it should.
I think I will change my antivirus suite now. Comodo has brought my too much trouble.
