Gutting Fish

When I go to gut fish, I get no blue line to cut along. Am i missing something??

i cant figure gutting out myself. i tried following the blue dots but it always screws up the gutting.

Gutting is easy :) just balance the knife and swoosh move the mouse fast to the right :)

@ tezbb, Must be a bug, I have the blue dots with no problem.
@ lothos. Those large blue dots above and below acts like magnets that pulls on the knife.
Like ScareCrow said, quicker is better then slower. Just about the only time i have problems is when theres two large magnets at the start.

like in real life the more you do it the more you get a feel for it, trust me it get easy really fast and its normal to get a few wrong cuts, it wont impact the total price by much

Well for people who cant control a mouse at insane DPI gutting is a problem and no it does not get easier.

It is simply impossible with low DPI

Then dont do it, or if boat 2 up hire a crew good at it to do it for you, at boat 2 you will be making so much money its a joke, as soon as cod arrive the cash flow is stupidily high. The extra cash you make from gutting is not worth your frustration if you cannot do it because dpi. Don't let a game grind you lol

When you get boat #3 there's a machine gutter you can buy (like $100k I think). It's a GODSEND!!! All 5 star guts from an AI crew member with like lvl 4-5 machine gutting skill.

I know all that.

I simply made that psot to make people realize that people arent stupid because they cant cut. Setting impact the gutting.

Im already on the hermes so for me aint no matter anymore :D

Fish gutting using a thumb trackball is insanely difficult. I opted to NOT gut the fish myself because I could rarely get above 2 stars, so I was actually losing money by gutting them.

i had to give up my mousepad to even get close to halfway. the dpi goes way up when it starts the gutting making my 6x6 mouspad not enoguh space :(
