Nets or long lines?

I have the 2nd boat and im curious what is better in your opinion

the first net, will get over 10,000kg in 1 shot, more than you can upgrade your hold

also, fish further out for cod, it's worth it, can make over 200k just on the cod the smallest net will catch

I havent been able to find any Cod yet, any clues as to which direction (or how far out) I need to go?

I didn't see any Cod until September 1st.

I am currently using the second boat, and one 1000 m longline filled my fully upgraded cargo hold. Brought in almost 124K on that catch.

I plan on getting there just curious to know whether I need to further explore seperately for Cod or if it will show up on my currently explored map (when its in season)

Yes they just started showing in the fish spots that were there already.

cod is also in most inital spots you find,from 1 sept , but overfish it and you will see a drop in that one area
Get sjarken with max speed-radar upgrade and do some exploring so you can set out multi line 1000 hooks

nets are fine, but with long lines you can target specific fish types, extremly efficient ;) I like both :D

Can you switfh back and forth between nets and lines? Lines are doing well for me, I would like to give nets a try, but worried that I can't swtch back if I decide I don't like it.

yes you can switch between lines and nets in the upgrade screen
just remember not to leave anything at sea before switching
