LvL 3 ship and Licenses

This lvl 3 ship is a mood killer... its slow its unhandable it doesnt make fun if i think i need to drive 200km with this "ship" i realy think about to deinstall this game and wait for a better lvl 3 ship, a smarter license system or cheats...
also implate more fishes ships a bigger map (now) and try to set up this game to a MMO because its ultra boring after 10hours atm . Think about a mmo server (this build up doesnt cost that much) ...
will you guys build a lil time waster game (1000-3000 player) or a GAME (5000-10000 player) ....just saying after idk...13 gamer years

DW the Water and Graphics look very good Unreal is a fking good engine but the content....^^

I haven't gotten there yet but I will stick to the level 2 ship. I really dont like the speed and how the other ship looks like.

Hay, Its Astragon, don't act as you're surprised!.... and in its main features it says there are six ships ingame when in reality there are only five... Details...
Sadly I've made the same mistake as you all and bought this thing, that will sadly be abandonware in a few days

nfangio, the sixth ship is a mission boat, for tourist missions. And if you don't want to listen to me listen to the devs in the forums who have already said they will stick with this game. They have worked on it for four years now after all.

funny enough, i am at my second boat still and was thinking to fully upgrade it and skip the third one... mostly because it just doesn´t appeal to me, esthetically... :)

after reading this, i will probably do so xD

and now that i found a workaround for my perfomance issues, the game just got better... although i agree: needs more places to drive to... but i guess the devs can´t just invent towns that aren´t there ;)

and a fair warning: the moment they (or you) announce the development of a multiplayer, i´ll come back here with a LIST of suggestions ;)

@OP: i know, it takes time to get the money (and km) together, but saying it is boring after 10 hours and in the same time ask for cheats is a bit shizo in my eyes :D

you go fishing, the whole day long... that doesn´t change with a bigger ship... so either you enjoy driving around with your ship and doing stuff or you don´t... how long until you complain about boredom again, if you get all the ships and upgrades by cheating them?

plus, at moment i can get around 150-200k per catch in my little boaty, so the 2 million and a bit couldn´t have been that tough if you just played the game... although, i wouldn´t complain about a gutting machine ;)

This game is really good to play only some crashes by boat changes and saves but at the moment there is a lil bit less content ;/



@Jackrabbit es geht mir nicht um die Boots einnahmen...ingame geld bekommt man genug...mir geht es um die 250 km in einem schiff das zur besten zeit mit rückenwind 13 knoten hat und meistens mit 11 herum tuckert....
Schnellreise KM sollten auf jeden fall hinzugerechnet werden .

dann machst du die 300km in 5 minuten... auch nicht gut... kann man gleich cheaten oder das ganze weglassen :)

well its not easy with this boat but if you pull tons of cod out of the water and get ~400.000 kr each trip it will return a smile on your face.. the money i spent for this ship has been earned in 3 hours back with it...
But from fun of driving and working the second ship was also the best so far (except the W-A-S-D Minigame)
By the way has anyone found the throttle inside the wheelhouse of the third boat? have not found it yet?

My solution was to use the Sjarken for initial exploration. I made routes that connected to all the towns manually (a long journey, but at least most of it was around 16-20 knots). Now I can fast travel with the lvl 3 ship and use the expanded radar to explore areas of interest near the prescouted routes.

For now I'll just use the lvl3 ship to find some new crew, train them up, enjoy the gutting machine and bigger storage (though not as big as I had hoped). Looking forward to cruising with the Lunar Bow soon enough :D

and the map is actually bigger than i first thought... the interestign part is that you obviously cant move the map around over it´s full size, but only in a limited are... i am just discovering towns that haven´t seen before, because i couldnt just move the map there...my first impression was there were like 4 or 5 locations tops :)

oh yes, that actually makes me want some cargo vessels even more... locations to move to and fro are plenty enough for starters :)

Wait, what? I have only upgraded to the second ship, but was able to pan the map around with the first ship and see several port locations. Are you saying the map is actually larger than that? Currently I can see 7 ports, although I've only been to 2 of them.

If you don't like the ship, you can always keep the level 2 ship and keep sailing until you reach the unlock Km's for the level 4 ship.

really, i dont know what your problem is with the third vessel? i like the swinging and is had a greater radar range . exploring goes much faster. speed is also ok, even i have not fully upgraded it with the engines. it runs nearly 10 knots, thats not bad..
