Editing game files

Anybody found a great way to edit money and such yet? Im still atttempting to work on it, but without much luck on my end.

bump, im wondering the same and not to break my experience or get the biggest boat asap, i just had a bug which caused me having to start over or continue playing without ever being able to get a job from any town or fast travel

If you use cheatengine, you can set the search to "float" and can find your money that way, by default it wont work. I havent discovered anything else with it, currently trying to find the value to edit to change the distance driven!

money isnt the issue, its having to sail all those km's for the licenses all over again

You can use cheat engine for money and for KM traveled.

"ValueType=ALL"

For KM, start at f.ex 10km. (easier with a round number)
Type in 10 and search. Travel to 11 and search. You can also use 10.1 and 10.2 in the searches. Do this about 4 times, and you got the magic number :)

How do you find how many KM you drove?

ingame you can press shift and T or was it Z to get ton of money ,but i didnt found a key to get all license for the ships ;(

In the logbook, on the top left corner of your screen. It will show you how many KM`s you have done, and how much is needed for next ship license

i also dont understand that. even with the third ship, bought on the second day of gameplay i am able to do 450k with one good trip?

cuz its not a simulation game its a childes game , im quite disapointed

DCS is a simulator , this game is not , i know there different but DCS earned the term simulator, this is a shadow of what could be a vry good Simulator but in no way is a simulator of any kind

Ok a developer or mod needs to lock yet another thread of mine due to this toxic behavior. Thank you to all who contributed, wilk try editing when i get time.
