How many Seagulls did you catch?
So the sonar image is literally reversed? if I'm going south, the sonar image shows the bottom as north?
the image in the bottom right is the infared image looking towards your boat the bar below that is the sonar that will give you a depth to a school of fish the nav well that just tells you where you are going and has nothing to do with the infared images
I'm actively playing now... here's a screenshot...
My ship is moving SouthEast.... which means, on a standard map, where the top is north, Starboard should be on the left side of the display (facing south, Starboard is West).
However... note the Infrared... where the Starboard Door is on the RIGHT side of the display. There is no way that's possible if the map is aligned where the top is north.

Edit... okay, I was using the term Sonar and the Infrared image incorrectly.... but I hope you see what I mean.
No, it shows the ships true starboard and port. The infrared ALWAYS points from the trawl towards the vessel, just like if you set up a camera showing your boat from behind. It's not linked with direction of travel.
