Pros and Cons to Lunar Bow VS. Hermes?

I just bought the Hermes, maybe Im not properly educated on the boat and how to use it, but I feel like I made more money with the Lunar Bow.

The lunar bow seemed to be faster, had a bigger load capacity, held more fuel, and the crew were pretty simple, they didnt need to skill up really to be efficient with the use of the boat. Not to mention when I wanted to travel to another port and there was a mission to take a cargo full of fish there, the load capacity and pay off seemed higher.

Can someone point out some things that are better with the Hermes and maybe some pointers/tips with what I could or should be doing?

Both ships are fully upgraded as well.


Edit: Also are there certain times of the year I should be using these boats?

summer time use lunar winter is hermes LB is the only one that can catch mackerel (summer time) but for me i just use the LB for mackerel and hermes for everything else but if you want to get high on the leaderbord just use LB skip a year when qouta is filled

Eh I could care less about LB haha, Im too casual for that.

Ive never caught Mackerel, is that why you use it in the summer?

yes in the open waters for mackerel its a top water fish unlike red fish wich is at a bottom

but you can fill all quotas in 3 months with them 2 ships

ok, I never really considered the depth too much, I knew there was some sitting closer to the bottom, but since I didnt use my LB when I was gaining cash to get everything and the Hermes upgraded I wasnt using the Lunar in the summer haha.
