this video option make ur pots unstuckable on crane and u can more smooth control Svalbard
make the hook point bigger on the pot then you have no problem , but that can the dev not you
Cool story bro. for full two crab quotas what i catch with svalbard (with scale 50) not a single pot stuck(approx 400-500 pots) this bug not fixed from release date crab dlc.

also devs if u read plz increase crab quota for svalbard too at least 500 tons. current quotas end in two cruise

It sounds like you and your boat cant handle the weather. It's nothing to be ashamed of, pay attention to the weather forecast. Sometimes, it's just not worth going out.
Crane is still buggy with the AI. I do a drop run run of 25 cages. I have the crane operator put out with a baiter and slowly drift forward. Once 25 are out and i head back until the first boey goes deep into orange. Now i either reset or pick up. Resetting i have the exact same setup as before. Picking up i change crane operator to store and remove the baiter. Anything else screws up the crane AI or animations/storage. Make sure the crane operator and baiter are only in place exactly when you need them, they are AI that can screw up if put in place before you need them.

You can work around the bug with no problem if you know what you are doing...
