Was my own newbie issues as I was trying to set the pots like the fishing line and forgot all I had to do was walk to to pot and grab it unlike the fishing lines where I had to use SET GEAR ---------------------- OK So I got the King Crab DLC yesterday and was out a few times catching crab. OK so I bought the game the other day and got into it some tonight. i finished the tutorials and such and got fishing but for some reason I am not getting what I thought I should be. So before leaving port I got my lines and bought the 1000 hook line figuring the more hooks the better right. I baited them with mackerel being the notes said August was good for Haddock and the in game WIKI said mackerel gives 25% boost (I guess boost) so I baited the line with mackerel and went out and laid in my line. ...

It's a pity that you can't fast forward the time on the boat, so you have to wait forever, for example 18-24 hours for longlines. That makes no sense and it is illogical that you can fast forward the time at the harbor. You drive back to the harbor then fast forward the time and then drive back to the fishing grounds where you have laid out the longline or baskets. You will then get over the time for the respective fishing time. It would be better if you could fast-forward the time directly on the boat....

I just came back to this game for a little breather from some more stressing games... Anyway, here's my situation and hopefully someone can help or elaborate. First off, I'm sailing in the Follabuen with its 40,000 kg cargo hold. It can hold 8 2,000 hook long lines. That 8 count is where part of my question comes in.
