maybe the text is a bit hard "DON´T BUY IT" but i was waiting for a sale and today i bought it.
BUT it don´t works with the gamepads (Xbox One, Xbox 360, Switch Pro Controller) and also doesn´t work with keyboard (the game shows "connect gamepad").
I read in the community the dev don´t answer or help, so i refund the game on steam and give info about the service and the game doesn´t work.
There are many games with hope to be a great game, but in such a situation, it feels devs like that only want to get our money."

!!!The problem was by my side (more or less my system)!!!

I use a ROCCAT TYON mouse with a joystick feature, which one i disabled before the last big WIN 10 UPDATE (a few days ago). After this big WINDOWS UPDATE i thought there is now change. So i bought this game and no controller worked.

After "sublime~hysteric" wrote about the problem to fix i thought "why, i don´t have connected any other controller (i don´t know the last windows update had changed something) an i was still angry.

The last days i was restless about a problem on my pc. There must be any problem if another says he had a fix and it could work for me too.

So i looked on my mouse and thought "maybe it could be, but i don´t think so. Take a look to know if it is or not". I done this and see, the windows update activated the joystick driver of my mouse and enabled the driver of the joystick. So i disabled it again and i tried the game today again.

YES I BOUGHT IT AGAIN AND TRIED IT AND YES IT WORKS GREAT.

So about dignity, i have to correct my thread and let you all know, maybe the problem could be a small thing you don´t want to know.

The game is great.

But why no dev ask for the problem to help to fix. Many devs ask for what system someone use and what could make problems?

Hi. Maybe I can help you because I already did go through all these problems.

Xbox 360 controller for PC: It works, but I had to disconnect every other controller first.

Keyboard: For me it "works" after disconnecting every controller. Then the game says "Press Space" at the title screen. BUT (at least for me) the keyboard controls are ultimately broken: the car is always automatically spining in one direction. I was not able to solve this problem and wondering, why noone in the forum or reviews is talking about that.

Summarized: The "pointing mode" controls work well with a Xbox 360 controller ("classic mode" has problems, which I can describe in detail, if you are interested).

Any "virtual controller", too? I have to disconnect every kind of controller (Windows device settings) and only leave the Xbox 360 controller to get it to work with the game. You also have to restart the game after you did all the disconnecting.

i disabled my roccat tyon joystick axle too.
could it be it get enabled again after the last big windows update?

my stuff works fine keyboard or not, also use a ps4 controller and that works great
