I read the note, old man Jacoby says "Come to Tarant. It's great here."

I leave Shadesgrove or whatever the hell the first town is. Shadowberry. I leave there, look at the world map... Nothing. I talk to Vigilante or whatever his name is, and he doesn't tell me anything.

How the hell do I get to Tarant, and more importantly... who gives me directions?
