We made this game to be a hectic and tough arcade-game of sorts and I'm not really sure why to really add cheats :o other than to learn the bosses or so which I'd prefer to be learnt playing the game "as it should be played" :) heh, if that makes sense!
We had machinegun powerups when we started making the game but they would eventually feel too overpowered and shift the focus primarily on the machinegun and I personally didn't like the feel of that so I designed everything to work around the shotgun, making it more of a "risk/reward" kind of a deal. The machinegun would easily just tear everything apart from afar making the game less "in your face" and kinda made it feel a bit too easy :o
Thanks for the suggestions though :)
