Thanks!
-bounce a shotgun pellet off of a shield, and kill another enemy with it. Gives the upgrade of shotgun magnetism, which is INSANE. Makes shotgun pellets stay a very long time, and after losing their momentum turn back around and gravitate to your cursor. Easier to get Thanks! charges if you already have Wally, which you absolutely should if youre even 40 seconds into a round.
And some clarifications and details:
Wizards hat requires a bit of prep, but the short answer is "shoot an electrocuted enemy with your machine gun." Full charge provides you with (I think?) a few inherently INFUSED! shotgun pellets per shot.
And if you're wondering how to electrocute an enemy, well:
-A wizard needs to shoot a fireball, then
-You must fire a shotgun pellet through it, which will INFUSED! your shot. Machinegun wont work.
-an INFUSED! shot must pass NEAR an enemy to electrocute them. This has a few effects worth noting:
-Electrocuted enemies will hold their arms out to their sides and do a cartoony skeleton blink, and during this time they are completely stunned, and cannot attack or damage you. Worth noting that a shielder can be electrocuted from ANY direction, AND will drop their shield upon electrocution. They'll still charge if you get near them after electrocution wears off though.
For Hot Stuff, I tend to save that one for later, but here's a few pointers...
-Like you said, the final machine gun bullet leaves a trail of fire.
-However, if an enemy is shot with the machine gun point blank, then the bullet wont have any travel distance, and thus leave no fire trail.
-To maximize your fire effectiveness, you'll want to intentionally miss a group of enemies so the fire trail ends up next to them, sidestep your firetrail so its between you and your targets, then shotgun blast. if you have ♥♥♥♥ YOU active, this will massively improve your fire spread thanks to the extra pellets the upgrade provides.
-If you have Thanks! already, then, well, you'll have Hot Stuff shortly.
For the current run - yes. When you die you lose them.
First powerup related tip I have is that I start EVERY RUN with running over to one of the edges, and building up Wallie charges until full. Then I build up ♥♥♥♥ YOU charges until shielders and wizards get obnoxious. (usually a bit above half charge) then shotgun through a few wiz shots to gain some quick wiz hat charge, but if you gain Wizards Hat *before* you get ♥♥♥♥ YOU fully charged, it makes charging of it significantly more difficult, i've noticed.

- what benefit does Wallie give you?
- sometimes shotty bullets bounced off the wall don't count toward Wallie, is it just a % chance?
- how do you get So Long?
- how do you kill Priestess?
-Wallie will make a shotgun pellet that hits a demon split into 2 (3?) more shotgun pellets and keep going.
-the shotgun pellets need to be normal type, and bounce off the wall only once. firing into a corner wont get you wallie charges because they'll bounce twice. Also if you have the electric shot from Wizard hat already, that could screw things up, or burning bullets could override it. Best to get wallie sorta early so you dont have to hug the walls during crazier times.
-Right, I forgot to list So Long. So long is gained by hitting a demon with a shotgun pellet that traveled juuuuust below it's maximum travel distance. you practically have to hit while it's actively fading out. Worth practicing by playing the first minute over and over trying to get them.
-Priestess.... I admit I still dont perfectly know. Occasionally she will dig into the earth and use her tail to fire shots at you, and if you hit that once she'll stop and start to wander the map. I've noticed if I whail on her during this time, she'll stop and start burrowing just barely underground (indicated by dirt piles making a trail) when she pops up again from this state, she'll be lighter colored then before, and shooting her in the head at this time will kill her.
That's generally how I approach it anyway. If anyone knows a consistent way to get her to shallow burrow (does INFUSED! do it? You can INFUSED! off of her tail shots.) I'd love to know!
also wizard hat seems to be one of the best imo since you can kill shields directly with it
In order to slay priestess consistently:
Priestess will start by wandering the map a bit, and is invincible during this time. After meandering a bit, she will go into the ground, and start shooting wiz shots from her tail. when she does this, HIT THE TAIL WITH THE SHOTGUN, NOT THE MACHINE GUN. if you hit the tail with the machine gun, she will simply enter her first phase again, until her tail is poking up from the ground again. However, if she is hit with the shotgun, she will instead enter phase two.
Phase two she starts burrowing shallowly under the ground, her location marked by cracked dirt clumps. After she pops her head up from burrowing, she will IMMEDIATELY do a large volley of shot blocking blood bullets. It is very tempting to run up to her to shotgun her when she comes up, but this will not work. She is still invincible, so keep your distance. After her volley of blood shots, she will turn lighter brown, and start to move again. This is your cue. Hit her in the head with (i think) any weapon, and she goes down, leaving meat blocks in place of every body segment above ground at the time. (which can be shotgunned away if they annoy you)
And another important discovery, about Gutshank. Getting angry about all of those brown damn-near-invisible bots he's building when you're trying to quick kill him? What if I told you you can force him to never build bots, for the entire duration of his life? You see, Gutshank only builds bots, by eating your machine gun ammo. Whenever you fire machinegun bullets near him, they vacuum into him, and if they hit, he turns it into a robot. The solution therefore, is simple.
As soon as Gutshank appears, stop shooting your machine gun. Chase him down, shotgun down any saws he throws at you, and get close enough to shotgun him. instant win, no kill bots.
also, you can get rid of Bigbones' stomach acid puddles he makes post death by setting fires near them.
