Kitty Cat: Jigsaw Puzzles is exactly what it sounds like. It is a jigsaw puzzle video game where all of the puzzles are photos of felines. The game is very simple to play and is accessible to anyone who can control a mouse.


There are 84 jigsaw puzzles in the package. If you're quick at solving jigsaws then you're looking at a couple of hours of entertainment. Personally, I think I am rather slow at solving them and I averaged about 7 to 8 minutes per puzzle. If I am an average consumer you are looking at approximately eleven hours worth of content. Considering the price that's a bargain. Of course, the likelihood of you completing each of them is rather minimal.

If that's not enough content for you then you are graded on each puzzle using the popular three star system. I am not completely certain as to whether or not the system is just time related or whether or not it factors in the amount of moves you make. At the end of each level you are told how long you took to complete the puzzle as well as the number of moves you took. A move is considered a movement of a puzzle piece. If you lose stars for moving pieces then I would advise against doing what I did. I moved some pieces around to empty spaces - on and off of the board - in order to see as many pieces as clearly as possible.

No. Unfortunately as is the case with all of EnsenaSoft's games they do not come with Steam achievements or trading cards. I'd like to encourage them to include them in a future update. It would make more people give their cheap casual games an opportunity. As a result this would increase the developer's revenue. It really is win-win.

If you're even too stupid to puzzle, pick this up!
It's easy. Puzzle parts are always in the perfect direction. You can't rotate the puzzle pieces so it's pretty simple.
recommended for everyone who likes to relax on easy puzzles. :)

Pros of the game:

• Kitty Cat: Jigsaw Puzzles is a joyful, tranquil and visually pleasing game that offers a plethora of delightful, adorable cat puzzles to complete, without any hassle of a timer or pressing urgency to complete them - simply having a 'rank' for each puzzle out of three stars, determined by the amount of moves and overall completion time it takes to finish, which does not impede your performance or skill ability in itself.
  
  
• The game offers four groups containing twenty-one jigsaws in each, for a combined total of eighty-four which range from easy to more difficult degrees as you progress. The levels of difficulty are determined by both a higher piece count to arrange in each set, and having no pre-mapped grid for the later sets. For those; my advice is to always look for the corner and border pieces, first.
  
  
• Each of the puzzles are cute images and clear in resolution to appreciate upon completion, also showing in the selection gallery how they appear before starting, to assist in having an idea on the visuals for piecing them together.
  
  
• In addition to the low cost for it being a lovely, fun and relaxing puzzle game - it also comes with cute assorted cards, badges and items as bonus material to add on your profile.
  
  
• There are no game-tied achievements, making it a completely casual and relaxed experience to enjoy whilst playing, not feeling pushed to finish with '100% stats', as other games may give the impression of pursuing.

• There's no accompanying music to the game, yet in a way, I can't fault it for still giving the opportunity to play your own choice of music in the background - along with it retaining a pleasant ambience in general and to focus on solving the jigsaw you're on.
  
  
• The game does not appear to have any customising options for resolution, window size, or brightness settings. The default values are full screen and of a decent brightness mode, albeit, so there's fortunately no present issues encountered with general gameplay.

TL;DR: If you enjoy jigsaw puzzles and cats, this game offers many different puzzles of adorable cats. I feel the game was a good value for the money, and I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys jigsaw puzzles and cats.

There's nothing too complicated about this game, it's just a fun way to enjoy beautiful cat jigsaw puzzles without worrying about my cats hiding the puzzle pieces on me. :D
It's really easy to pick up and play any time, as each puzzle is fairly short. So when you find yourself unexpectedly waiting for 15 minutes and are looking to pass some time, this is a great game as it's fun without requiring a long time commitment to play.

NEUTRAL
Puzzle pieces do not require turning, and are facing in the correct direction. This can be a positive for those liking a more relaxing game or a negative for those who wish more of a challenge.
There are no achievements. You earn stars based on how fast you complete the puzzle, but no one sees your stars but you. So while there's some pressure to complete the puzzles quickly, you can also ignore it if you like.

Honestly, I can't think of anything bad to say about this game.

VALUE FOR THE MONEY
I was entertained and had fun playing this game. I feel the game was a good value for the money, and I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys jigsaw puzzles and cats.

Puzzles! with pictures of cute kittens! How could you go wrong with that?!

Well...

a) The score you get on each puzzle depends on the number of "moves" you have, and the time you take. Unfortunately when a puzzle starts, it dumps a load of the pieces over the edges of the board, so you need to use time and "moves" in moving them out of the way before you start. Seems like a massive oversight. It increments the number of moves just from clicking the pieces, not specifically whether you're placing them within the puzzle area.

b) Pieces don't rotate. They are always the right way up when you pick them up.

c) For the first five puzzles in every level, it shows you where to put the pieces. There's an outline of where every piece goes! You don't even need to look at what's on the pieces to solve this jigsaw!

So every puzzle is artificially easy, some of them made super-easy by showing outlines of the pieces, marred by the loss of "moves" and time because of where it places the puzzle pieces at the start of each puzzle.

The "four difficulty levels" in the game are the number of pieces; the puzzles in the first set contain 20 - 30 pieces, and the puzzles in the last set contain 72 - 90 pieces, but still on this "hardest difficulty" it's showing you where to place the non-rotatable pieces for the first 5 puzzles on hardest difficulty.

Combine this with - if you were thinking you'd use the menu as a pause button.... the menu is actually a level select, and there's no way to go back to the puzzle you were doing without restarting it. So it's deeply annoying, if you want to "do well" at these jigsaw puzzles but suddenly get called off to do something.

Pushing Esc while on the level select takes you back to the main menu (if that's how you thought you might unpause it rather than re-selecting the level and restarting it), and pressing Esc again from the main menu exits the game entirely.

Oh and btw there's no music *at all* in the game.

Though if it was using the music that's in the trailer - "Barroom Ballet by Kevin MacLeod" - which they are perfectly allowed to do since it's royalty free music - I'd just spend every cat puzzle thinking about Okosan from Hatoful Boyfriend, and pudding, which would be entirely inappropriate. :P

I got this game as a present and I have to say it lives up to the promise. It is a puzzle ...on the computer.
Mix it together with some cute cat pictures and you'll have quite some entertaining hours.

Graphics are, really good ^.^ Awesome pictures of cats. YAY !
The gameplay is maybe a little to easy for the more experienced puzzle friend. The puzzles themselves could do with more pieces or more different piece shapes.

I can recommend this game for maybe younger adults, kids and the more casual gamer who just wants to spend a few hours on a rainy Sunday. Not very many hours though.

This game is awesome!

After some frustrating Counter Strike matches when you feel like punching your monitor, this game calms the sh*t out of you. I highly recommend to make at least three puzzles after every matchmaking game.

An adorable kitty game from a lovely friend! A game to put your favorite music on to in the background and just relax while doing puzzles of cute cats (optional-optimize your experience with a hot chocolate, coffee or tea). 💖🐾

Great game, high replayability... One of those games that just get better and better the more you play it. By the way, his is one of those games that took me forever to finally install and play it, its like one of those movies that took you forever to watch because you expect it to be something else but then it turns out into something greater than you've imagine and then you ask yourself, why didn't I watch this movie before? Amazing soundtrack, very addictive and intriguing puzzles, so original. Highly Recommend it. Also, it is a nice and fun tho brainstorming game. It uses physics to reach out of the levels. At the end the credits are kind of touchy and emotional. Awesome story and just enjoible game overall <3 10/10

Good game, calms the soul. cute cats, love it in general, a ton of puzzle. It's pretty fun and if you enjoy just chillin and doing puzzle this game is great. also cats
