We are porting it to Rift/Touch now and will release it in the next patch if everything goes smooth. Some players had successful experience running the current steam build in the compatibility mode with Rift/Touch. However we don't recommend playing it with Oculus/Rift yet since the compatibility mode is not tested and supported by the dev team.

I'm using Oculus/Touch. I'm able to start the game in Win7 Compatibility (which fixes the issue of appearing behind the text) but my framerate is abysmal, so it won't send the game to HMD. Is this a symptom of not being optimized for Oculus, or is my processor too weak? (my processor meets the min requirement but is AMD so it doesn't have hyperthreading that I know of.)

I hope support comes soon, this game looks way too good but currently I can't play it...

We will release the official Oculus+touch+room-scale support in the next patch barring show-stopper bugs. In our internal tests of the newly added Oculus support we see comparable performance between Oculus and Vive on the same mid-end hardware.

One note for the future Oculus support is that it's still recommended to have a room-scale setup in order to fully enjoy the game experience although we are working hard to make stand-up experience enjoyable.

Good news! The new patch makes it possible to play Fist of Physics with Oculus Touch. Please bear in mind that it still requires a room scale setup, and it's at a first-pass state.
