effects realism mods

Does anyone know where you could get a mod that would make the flashes, explosions, gunfire etc more realistic, a little toned down? Thanks.

If you look in the folder for the game.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Firefight\Images\Game\Effects

Then you could have a go yourself to modify these picture files.

If there was a Workshop ,I would alter some myself and ADD them to the Workshop.

Many thanks! That would be excellent. In particular the massive 'burst radius' effect of shrapnel/sparks or whatever.

There is a folder called Mod in this Zip.
Extract from Zip.
You will now have a folder called Mod.
Put this Mod folder in your Game Folder.

Try game ,
Smoke from explosion is less pronounced.
Tracers are less pronounced.
The little sparks that fly everywhere with artillery should be less visible now.
When mortar fires ,the projectile thru air is smaller now.

See what you think.

This is a temporary upload ,it only lasts 7 days from now.
If you wish I can upload somewhere more permanent.

Thanks so much! However, those little sparks are still very obvious when an explosive projectile hits. If I could find the 'sparks' file or whatever I would just delete it....

I think so, thanks. I think explosions looked much smaller, or the smoke from them, maybe. But the most noticeable silliness is that starburst of sparks spreading out over 300 metres or so. Thanks.

Could you put up this mod again, please, Sean? That is, assuming its changes weren't included in version 10. The game is looking great, with the version 10 update. Well done, and thanks! . But that vast blast of sparks from any mortar is still there.... Many thanks!
