Well I have to be frank with you, by just seeing it can give you Splatoon vibes.
Although, I don't consider Decksplash remotely similar to Splatoon apart from having paint involved. The controls, team play, customization and matchmaking makes it a completely different game.
It only reminded me of Tony Hawk and other 2D skateboarding games. This genre isn't super popular, and I'm glad to see Bossa Studios having a go at it.
BUT unlike the tower defense KRush, it's a semi-rail RTS minion-based tower attack! And it's REALLY well made!
(here's a snippet: https://youtu.be/gzSUCpUy2rE?t=1099 )
We actually did a blog recently talking about the origins of Decksplash and the games that helped to influence, shape and ultimately inspire the game we're creating!
Check it out to see our perspective on it![www.decksplash.com]
Speaking of which, Tony Hawk had the game mode for painting the map your team's color well before splatoon was a thing.
it's as if these idiots actually expect us to be influenced by their idiocy
are they actually expecting us to NOT buy a new fresh game just because there are old assed games in teh same genre??
is that truly their small minded thought process???
"ooooog, i played tonyhawk on n64 20+ years ago... therefor i will not buy/play anything else... everybody should just play n64."
