That too, I agree.
In any case I thought it was unusual, but it's fine.
Well, it can happen. Look at Dungeon Defenders.
For me the main attraction is the developer commentary, I love this game and hear more from who developed it is a bless to me
Yeah, that's a really good addition, honestly. More games should do it.
Monkey Island Special Editions had something similiar in-game, Mark of the Ninja had it in its Special Edition and so on.
Why do people always assume that a remaster should be free.
Do you expect to get updated hardware for free each time Apple launches a revision.
When movies get remastered on a new format do you think you are entitled to that for free because you bought the VHS back in the day.
....'oh but its not the same' i hear you say.
It is. These things cost money.
It's a product and the publisher / developer is entitled to do what they want with both the original and any updated versions. You still own the original you paid for. That isn't changing.
The remaster took time and cost money. You don't have to buy it.
While the original gets delisted (to help push sales towards the new version and to ensure new customers pick up the best version) if you own the orignal you still own it and can still play it.
If you don't like the price then you can play the original.
If you want to get the updated features then you can buy the new one.
I don't see what the issue is and i don't see why gamers constantly feel so entitled to stuff for free. It's really pathetic and embarrassing to see.
On another note, saying this should be free is same as saying windows 10 should be free for windows 95 owners. What would you get "for free" if Braid: Anniversary Edition would not get released? What else should be free? You bought a '2009 car, so you should get one for free every 15 years until when?
