Game breaking glitch! Elegant crank HOS

In the elegant crank hos, the small silver lever that is supposed to be on the base of the fallen stand (circled in red in the strategy guide) is missing and therefore unable to click on, so I cannot proceed any further in game and am totally stuck!

I checked the BFG game forums and it seems I am not the only one who has this problem but no-one has come up with any solutions and the dev hasn't fixed it either, so I don't know what to do!

I'm pretty p****ed off tbh as I spent a ton ofbuying this in the dark parables bundle (just buying it individually still would have cost £9.99) I can't even play the game!

I downloaded my version of this game to see what the issue is. BFG is not known for broken games. When you get a chance let me know what page you are on in the strategy guide or exactly where you are in the storyline so I can help. : )

I have exactly the same 'glitch' - if I hit hint it highlights where the lever/bar is supposed to be, but there is nothing to click on. The Big fish forums have several complaints - all 'locked' so you can't add to them and no response. e.g. http://forums.bigfishgames.com/posts/list/278390.page

Real shame as it was quite a good game up until this point and now i can't progress in any way!

when i play game find pieces of crank but one piece are missing at swan princess place where cages near fountian..

Hey Joan4003 it's the screenshot of the elegant crank hos on the last page of chapter 3 of the strategy guide, just before chapter 4 if that's any help?

I have the same problem with that elegant crank , hint highlights the base of cage but the piece is not there , even looked at strategy guide and there were they show piece , its just not there HELP

Same problem here, I've been doing the whole series and really enjoying the story lines and this is REALLY disappointing. People have posted over a month ago on this, is there a fix in the works yet?

still no reply of any kind from the Dev's yet unless i missed it somewhere.

Hit F12 (standard key) when u want to take a screenshot in game and save it to the steam cloud then once u post it share it publicly so that others can see.

Isn't there some kind of accountability somewhere if a game is broken? If I buy a defective product at a store, I take it back and at the very least get store credit. I have over 200 games in my library and I would like to feel like a valued customer from the developers or Steam. This seems to be a Steam issue since when I visited the BFG website for this game, all I see are rave reviews with no mention of any bugs. Can someone please talk to us?

I would advise anyone posting on this forum to submit a request for a refund which you can do from your library screen with the game selected. Then select support and follow the logical steps to request a refund. That is probably the only way to get Steams attention.
