Multiverse bug

I finally got around to playing the multiverse, but I came across a strange bug. I had just finished a map, resounding win, but the family came home. I left it at the screen where they tell you how well you did to take care of a few things, but when I came back and clicked on the continue button, it took me to the area I had just won...but the screen that shows the map showed nothing but a starfield. I could create buildings and troops, but the rest of the screen? Star filled void.

Any advice on getting the playing field back?
