Can you throw potions?

Seems like some of these are meant to be thrown at baddies but I don't see a mechanism for throwing a potion?? Thanks in advance.

You cannot throw potions. Some of them affect enemies when consumed though and all of them can be useful in the right situation, even the bad ones with seemingly no purpose.
