PD_CGT has an incredible gift for teasing arcade depth and challenge out of console style action games, and Lurruna is no exception. Creating Disaster Arms and Lurruna back to back is an accomplishment to be VERY proud of.

great game, great design all around, really appreciate how much the difficulty escalates and the extra modes included.
the stages are great, you really gotta make use of all ur abilities plus more to get through em.
im not a big fan of some of the bosses, they kinda end up feeling samey, but the overall game is still a pretty good challenge.
great art as usual from the dev, love how it looks, and the OST is nice too.
overall, i highly recommend it, it's not exactly a classicvania but i'm sure it'll appeal to you if you're a fan, and hopefully you wanna check out ghosts n goblins resurrection soon enough... ;)

kinda wish this game also included a built in 1CC mode, not sure why it isn't there like the previous game, but forcing players to be locked to 5 continues to unlock the rest of the game is already something i appreciate.

GAMEPLAY SPOILERS
the boss rush mode is a ton of fun, just a fun gauntlet where you have to kill all the bosses (plus a secret one thats unfortunately kinda lame) with one life and some healing between them.
i still havent cleared the EX mode, but my god what a beast, still have to really see what's happening there but it seems absolutely insane, definitely what we like to see.

what i played: 3CC'd regular mode, cleared boss rush and haven't finished EX mode yet
