Developers: RGSS3 Player has stopped working

Is there something I can do to get around this? This happens right at start of game, I cannot even sellect new game it happens so fast.

I have uninstalled game 2 or 3 times to no evail.

Hi Rycharde,
it seems to be a recurrent problem with rpg maker. You can try:

1) Download the demo and see if it works:

2) Try to install the game on another computer.

3) Try to turn off dep for this program:

Well, the gaming gods do not want me to play this game. Ran through all the steps listed above from all sources, no joy.

Actually, never got into game, left error open so I could collect the trading cards.

I have run into this with other games. Got past it with most. Had already done a couple steps on some of those games before (and forgot, of course). Demo had same problem by way.

Have large list of RPG Maker games from Steam and free games on internet. Have been putzing around with VX Ace and XP. Working on game of my own. We'll see where that goes.

But, as said, none of those steps worked. Sometime in future something on my system may change/get updated and the game will work. I have a couple other games in my collection that have problems that I occasionally check on.

That's too bad really,
but other rpg maker game have this problem too.

If you bought it you can get a refund.
If you bought it from a otakumaker bundle,
I plan to make another game (with rpg maker mv)
so I can give you a free
key for my next game.

I'm having this same error on this game and none of the above fixes it either sad hope a fix happens one day

A fix will be hard to make, I don't have this problem on my computers.

That would be nice and appreciated, it's sad though I was interested in this one unfortunately this error happens on both my computers and my laptop.

Yes, a free key would be cool.

Like KaiyoriaChi, I wanted to play this game. Maybe some new driver or update will fix this in the future. Will try from time to time. We'll see.

Only have the once system so I cannot try it on other system.

MV, if I recall correctly, will have no need for a runtime library?

Too bad you can't play the game.
I have tested on my computer and laptop and it works fine.
I hope someone find a solution or fix for this.

Is this RPGMaker MV? MV is pretty unstable.

This game is made with rpg maker vx ace.
My next game will be made with rpg maker mv though...

Yeah, ace is fine, but MV is about 50/50 ---- some work, some don't, and I have been told by a couple of devs that MV can be sort of unstable. Thanks very much for the reply.
