Fix for constant crashing!
Hey guys I absolutely love this game, and have probably played hundreds of hours on it. When I came home from yesterday I found it was on steam and instantly bought it, I was enjoying it until.... I get crash after crash. I found a neat litte fix for it though, have tested it for over 30 mins and not a single crash day or night!

You can either try a one, a few or all of them to see which works the best, this combo has worked fine for me.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Verify your game cache. Right click the game in your steam library and select properties, then under local files click verify integrity of game cahce...

2. Right click on StreetLegal_Redline (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Street Legal Racing Redline v2.3.1) and click on properties. Change your compatibility to Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and run as an admin.

3. Go to game settings and video options, change to windowed mode and a resolution compatible ( I am using 1600x900 not too sure if others work if they don't let me know)

4. While in video options turn off shadows (again not sure if this was causing the crashes but after my experience with other versions usually that causes it sometimes).

5. Launch from folder not steam or desktop!

There you go guys! Hopefully your game now works! Also just to add I am using windows 10 so this fix should help most of you guys :steamhappy:

Okay so instead of the folder properties, double click it and then scroll down until you see StreetLegal_Redline, then right click that. Then follow the other steps :)

Yep Win 10 decides to call it an app, but I still think of it as a .exe :P

Hmmm, did you do all the steps at once? I have been in game for well over an hour now and no crash...
