but maybe its secretly being made ... i dunno
They still have a lot of plans for SLRR 2.3.1 and i guess once they are finished with that and are ready for another challenge they might try to create STE.
Also i think working on SLRR 2.3.1 would give the devs a bunch of experience that they could use to make an even better game :p
I heard the dev of 2.3.1 said that if this game does well, they'll contact Invictus to maybe make that game.
Since it died before its infancy, there isn't any hope for it. Better to just start from scratch. I can do models, textures, and even do the code for a fair bit of the work but I lack the skills to do 3d rendering myself. Never delved that deep. I can even do basic networking to make proof of concept multiplayer into games that never had it, just not skilled on that either.
Better off just fixing SLRR, polish it up, add some more things/modes etc, don't go too crazy.
They should just continue fixing SLRR, polish it perfectly, then make a new street legal racing game with the same game engine(polished), and updated graphics, slight change to all the physics etc.
Street Legal Racing Red line is still a ton of fun, and it's like 13 years old? Just need to fix it , make a new game and modernize it.
I only drag race in the game
Our company (ImageCode) will keep polishing Street Legal Racing: Redline, it's a very important experience for us and we need to pass it through for making better products in the future. And of course, the new game on a new technology will come after that.
@✪ Sy kriss™: actually, you don't really need core source code, because this is an obsolete technology and trying to bring it back to life is the same thing as turning dead into alive.
