Would you like a Physics mod?
This project was released a while back:

I am in the process of porting over a decent physics mod into the current version of the game. I am wondering if the community would be interested in a release once finished.

Please be aware I have only begun to port this. Chassic.java has over 25kb worth of code and could take a a while to sort out and figure out what needs to be moved over.

UPDATE:
Jenn & Jame' tested this out after I got all but the Chassis.java ported over and the DLH with stock suspension kit is a rollover problem. Issue is due to bottoming out on the front, added new stiffer suspension and now its not bottoming out but a high speed drift will cause a rollover.

This does not happen in the MCGT I have been testing with. Will start a new career tomorrow and test the current changes in actual gameplay before porting Chassis.java over.

To me it looks like you have too much control, it should have spun out at those speeds, shouldn't have been that controllable, but I agree the handling physics aren't too good in SLRR. Id like to see it go in a more realistic way rather than turning it into a drift game.

I do hate hitting a small bump in the ROC and my heavy superduty looks like it weighs nothing and flys in the air.

This has just started. I still got a custom sprin, redo swaybars, and port the chassis.java from the mod. Once this is all done hopefully it will work out better.

Sounds interesting, keep going. Actually, there was a great physics mod by GT4Tube for this game.

Really appreciate a comment from you. I will finish this port and then look up GT4Tube's and try to port it over too.

Running into an issue with making a custom RPK for the spring and shocks. Can't get it to build the class file to even know if its working. Tried adding to parts.rpk but still no go. Not very good with this rdb editing thing. Can someone take a look?

UPDATE: Sorted through the Chassis.java included in the mod and no changes are needed from vanilla. So the only thing holding back completion is the spring and strut not being able to be added.

Look up Soha’s Physics in the workshop. I keep an eye on comments on it to see if something breaks but so far no complaints.
