I HAVE A MAJOR IDEA FOR A VARIATION OF THE VANILLA GAME (I NEED TO SPEAK TO A MODDER)
Would like to have a serious conversation with a modder or modders of this community. I have ideas that I would like to try, but first would like some help with general information about the game beforehand. we can talk via this post, text, email, phone, w/e.

Would it be possible to add in new Car companies?
Duhen > Honda
Einvagen > Volkswagon
Emer > Nissan
Baiern > BMW
Shimutsibu > Mitsubishi
Ishima > Subaru
Haulers > Dodge
MCA > Chevy
PFAA > ??? (Super Car Company?)

I want to add in 3 car companies that represent their real life counter part.
-Company 1 > Ford
-Company 2 > Toyota
-Company 3 > Acura (which will have interchangeable parts with Duhen, that represents Honda)
All cars made by company 3(acura) will have Duhen Motors and Suspension)

I WANT TO KEEP AS MUCH ORIGINAL SLRR LORE AS POSSIBLE

Possible Changes:
-Emer Axis (Sylvia S15?)
A possible inline 4 RWD longitudinal (Emer/Nissan Brand) motor/trans OR SOMETHING like the standard package being an inline 4 FWD and then having a sport model with a longitudinal RWD inline 4 or 6.
Is it posssible to have different variations of the same car model in which one can fit an inline 4 and the other can fit an inline 6(or possibly both)???
Example; The Axis 200s and the Axis zx360. The 200s only being able to fit inline 4s and the zx360 being able to fit inline 6's.

-Stallion rebranded to Company 1(Ford)

-Coyot (Corolla)
Zed (Mr-S Spyder/MR-2) <-- gets its own engine block and transmission (I-4 RWD)
Yotta (Supra) <-- gets its own "toyota brand engine block and transmission" (I-6 RWD)
all rebranded under Company 2(Toyota) with possible thier own unique motor/set-ups/models

-Teg (integra) rebranded under company 3 (acura) with Duhen parts (motor, trans, suspension)

-Whisper (Viper) rebranded under Haulers (dodge)

-MC
Prime DLH
Badge
all rebranded under their respective representitive car companies (the muscle cars)

-Naxas & Furrano rebranded under PFAA (the super cars minus the whisper)

-ST9 & Codrac I'm still unsure on what to do (need help from community and those who know about this game, it's history, and car culture... if you can mod or know the ins-and-outs of modding ON THIS GAME, then feel free to give me your feedback)

Major Features I want to include or add:
-realign all Cars and Car Companies with thier real life likenesses
-Each car will have its own motor (block, internals, head, camshafts and SOMETIMES exhausts and intakes) FOR THE MOST PART! but, just like Honda uses the same motors in different car models, Duhen and Company 3(Acura) will also do!
-increased aftermarket support for some vehicles (more SL Tuners parts and maybe create a rival brand i.e, AEM & Injen)
-would like to use the current model/packages that the game/community has provided up until this point with certain changes (i.e. Axis having an inline 4 package and another with an inline 6)
-more engine blocks, unique to car model

some thoughts:
-certain parts can only be found on the cars in the used car lot or when bought New.
example; you find a duhen racing Sunstrip 2.0 and it has "the turbo still on it from production", then you have came across a gem that can not be naturally bought in the catalog! (this could open up many doors for playability due to RNG and rarity to certain parts)
to offset this I would add more aftermarket parts so that you could still buy turbos and superchargers for vehicles, but in this case say you found a WRZ superturismo in the car lot, you might want to buy the vehicle specifically for the rare turbo placed on them at production.

SO MANY MORE IDEAS I JUST NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE SO THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT ALL IS POSSIBLE WITH THIS GAME.. THANK YOU GUYS!

randomization of rare parts you cant buy would be awesome imagine finding an aftermarket cam shaft or crank and it has a description like "was produced in 1998 by sl tuners this part is no longer in production" i think that would make even just the motors them selves more unique

agreed
Maybe add in some 3rd party parts by HKS and etc.
After all, the developers do have the license for these brands.

who can I talk to about modding, i know very little. but familiar with programming! I believe I could enhance just the vanilla version+HD car pack.

yes! "more 3rd party parts like HKS etc" exactly! of course we would even use different names than their real life counterparts.

I think it would be awesome! I need a boost, who's out there!? I wont even need any new textures/assets, I can use what is currently there for now! however more carbon fiber hoods. maybe even trunks/fenders for higher tier models. more wheels.

more SL Tuners, Llama Performance, etc. "aftermarket parts"
-ideally less blending of engines. if you have a duhen motor you wouldn't use shimutsibu intake maybe there would be a "Duhen Racing" or "Type-R"

more vision:
(play along with me)

Duhen
-Sunstrip
-ninja

Company 3(Acura)
-Teg

You have a $h^tty beat up ninja. you've saved up enough to place the premier Duhen Racing 2.0L CDVC (Vtech haha) motor inside your car. Your getting the parts for you turbo build and you're plotting on the [Skunk 2 :)] (not Duhen manufactured) intake manifold for your build that can be found and bought in the catalog.

however you visit the used car lot AND NOW YOU HAVE CHOICES!!! you see a Duhen Racing Sunset Strip, with the Duhen Racing turbo (THAT CANT BE BOUGHT IN THE CATALOG). ALSO, you see a Teg (Type-R?? version) that you know has the "Type-R" intake manifold, THAT ALSO CANT BE BOUGHT IN THE CATALOG!!!

RNG CRAZINESS, PART EXCLUSIVENESS = Career Replayability!

more aftermarket camshafts. If i buy a 2.5 coupesport. it goes from 2.5 N/A motor to 3.6 twin turbo/ methanol inject/ GT2 camshafts, GTIII intake, blah blah... engine blending is okay, yeah, but it's like there's no middle ground, SOMETIMES... We need like, Stock, enhanced model, tier 1 aftermarket (street), tier 2 aftermarket (sport), and then racing+ parts... Also the tier 1 and 2 aftermarket parts shouldn't be all manufacture parts.

shoutout to everyone whos worked hard getting the game to this point. you guys really made THEE BEST RACING GAME EVER.

Example.

your building an RB26DETT
-you might have Nismo camshafts (which is motorsport side of manufacturing company, Nissan.)
-AEM Cam gears
-GReddy Exhaust
-HKS CPU
-Injen Intake
blah, blah, blah

manufacture or stock parts get replaced by aftermarket company (3rd party) or motorsport company of manufacture parts. (TRD, Nismo, etc.)
I believe that RBs already exist on the workshop.
I personally beaten the game to red workshop using the engine swap mod, but I currently have an LSX mod for my ferrari in ROC
