getting smashed up at race end

this bug needs fixing asap please ,everytime i do a night race the a.i. car smashes mine to smitherines at the end of the race !!? .my car auto brakes at the finish line and the a.i. slams into the back off me i got to rank 11 but lost every penny i earned through this bug plus having to rebuild my car completley after each hit..its making the game unplayable at least if it was elimated thier may be a chance of some sustainability

It's not a bug. Finishing a race is just as important as the launch.

?? when the race finishes the car auto brakes ,i have no control !. if i did id get outta the way !!!.on a straight drag i can aim the car out of the way by trajectory over the line but when theirs a slight curving finish he slides skidds across into the other lane all i can do is cringe and wait for my car to written off !! hows that not a bug ???. ive played it dozens of times and everytime my career is written off by something which i have no control over ???

Go in settings and adjust the ABS settings.

It's been this way forever, and I think it adds a level of excitement as long as you're not broke when it happens lol

Right before I go past the finish line I move to the side to try and not get hit.

yep , thx ive cracked making money now so its not so devestating now ,i turned the traffic down in the advanced options got alittle rep so i can dictate the day races jump some poor A.I. dude an repeatedly beat him in short drag races xd . alittle unsporting but it works till i got alittle finance anyway xd.thx again for the help though.

I recommend doing the night time races, thats where the real fun is at in this game! More money too

I think forcing bots to stop their cars on the finish line was a really bad idea. Better thing is to make them running around the car and stop only if the distance between these two vehicles will be big enough.

yes i agree or maybe give players car 30 secs invunerability like they used to on outrun an other old classics "they flashed invisible".what evers easyiest after the tension of the race last thing you want is worrying about being hit ,imagine a pink slip race lol you potentionally lose both cars ! xd. but i would like to take this oppurtunity to thank you for an original game respect xd.

I don't think the problem is that the players car auto brakes at the end of a race or that the a.i. doesn't brake enough. It's the fact that some a.i. will purposely aim their cars at you and hit you on purpose.

with more experience in game now i noticed day races they the "A.I" aviods you ?. night races ?? like ya say it sometimes looks like they got a rage on and come into ya on porpose lol.i understand damage is key to the game but after the finish line when your paralysed is unsporting kinda messes with the fluidity /continuity ..and takes the tension from the race and places it unto the finish.your thinking changes from can i win the race to how do i survive the finish!.

AI doesn't aim for your, it's not programmed that way. The AI comes slamming through the finish line and locks up all tires. They have no control and if you were in a curved road that just makes it worse. I always go back to garage and back to valo to until I have a fairly straight night race.

Yea, for the night races if when I arrival to the race location and find that it's not a perfectly straight road or has turns or hills, I don't do the race. I quit and go to garage and then go back to the city and usually that moves the race location.

Once you're in the red club it seems most races are not in straight roads, do I have to reload the city a lot more to finally get a race worth doing.


Overall I enjoy seing the AI crash at the end of the races. I start to move over just as I pass the finish line and rarely get hit by them Any more.

We have finally found a solution for this. Now if the player finishes night drag race first, bots drive around him and keep going to the new safe destination far from your car. Chances that you'll get hit in this case are pretty low, so I hope that should make the game more playable. This fix is coming up in build 921 very soon.
