Triple airboost activated while not having double airboost

Hi
i was quite lost in where to go after having beaten D2
And visibly I manage to find the upgrade to have the triple airboost, while not having found the double airboost...a way to fasten the progression?

I don't know if the creator of the game thought about that possibility, but it works.
