Game won't run

When I press the play button on Steam's Library page everything seems fine until it abruptly stops after a few seconds. I used to play this on my old computer and everything was fine except a few crashes and data losses. Some years passed and I'm trying to play the game on my new laptop but it's not working. Asking for help.

Edit: Went to files and the program was saying that "MSVCP110.dll" and "MSVCR110.dll" were missing.

Im not sure if you already fixed the issue but try to download this. [www.microsoft.com] There is a chance that it might help.

Thanks for the tip. I've downloaded what you said and re-downloaded the game a few times, but the problem persists. The game still says that MSVCP110.dll and MSVCR110.dll are missing.

Never mind, I downloaded the 64 version instead of the x86 version of the file. Now the game runs perfectly! Thanks a bunch!

Or so I thought... When I go into the battle scenes, all my buttons turn into light attack for some reason. Story mode runs smoothly, and I can run and look around, but I can't jump, dash, block or do heavy attacks. It's the same for my DualShock 4 and keyboard. Maybe this game's just a goner by 2024.

There are 2 fixes that might help you with this
1. In steam controller settings enable the playstation support (or something like that) and try to use the controller wired.

2. If it still doesnt work try to use a software that emulates Playstation controllers as Xbox controllers (i tested it today with a PS3 controller but it has a PS4 controller support too). The software is named ScpToolkit [github.com]. Sometimes with the drivers you need to force install them (there is an oution for it in the software). After installing it you will need to open "ScpToolkit Monitor (legacy)" and everything should work fine.

Also make sure that the controlls in the game settings are messed up.
