Eggs...How to Get Worker to Put Them In Barn?
The worker only kills the chicken for meat, and rarely (maybe once a year) deliver 5 eggs from the coop. And those handful gets eaten by nearby houses. It's almost impossible to stockpile pies.

One thing that might help, build the bakery, Chicken farm and a barn further away so that villagers restock there houses from the closest barn and leaf the eggs in the one barn for the bakery
Build chicken farm and bakery near the stock, baker will take the eggs faster than villagers

His issue is the same as mine, the Coop-Herders are not delivering the eggs to the barn, they back up in the coop. Two days straight the eggs have been piling up as my bakery sits idle. Not until finaly the herder takes the eggs to the barn will the bakery get its delivery.

It sounds like either you don't have the maximum number of workers or your coop, your worker's housing and the barn are too far from each other. Workers will get food and fuel for their house before doing work. If they are tending animals they will get water and food for the animals before slaughtering animals or taking the animal products to a barn. Max your workers and see if you can creater closer housing (or barn or move the coop). In the meantime go and grab someone (a teen is great, a laborer is good, one of the herders will do) and stand at the door of the coop grab the eggs and drop them right outside for free workers to grab and get to the barn rapidly, repeat until all the eggs are out of the coop. Lock the eggs in by double clicking on them in the city window so that they are left alone for the baker.

I've had the same issue with my coop also. I have a barn right next to the coop and have the recommened people for the coop, and I had 230 meat, and over 900 eggs sitting at the coop, neither of my people would deliver them to the barn. What i did notice was the meat, and eggs, they stayed there all through the winter, and it wasn't until summer hit that they for some reason decided it was time to start delivering them. This issue had nothing to do with how many workers
I was used, ( max number) or where my barn was. The thing is i don't know how long it had been accumulating before i noticed i was getting no meat, or eggs in any barn, and my baker was getting no eggs or meat.

@Minxall1, did you check to see where your workers live far away from the coop, don't live near a barn, and/or are the only adult in with a bunch of kids taking care of the house will eat significant time which comes out of delivering things. People move slower when they are cold so all distance issues are made worse in the winter, also if it's a kids at home issue one may have become a teen who can help stock the house, freeing up the adult to do their job more completely.

You could use this mod[pboxx.wordpress.com]. It changes the priority of things a bit (among other things).

Less useless herders:

Changed the order of things a bit so that carrying off resources has a higher priority. What they do now is 1. kill wild animals if there are any; 2. slaughter old animals; 3. carry off resources; 4. fetch resources (food/water); 5. breed; 6. hang out pointlessly. Also doubled the number of allowed workers in pastures (you don’t have to have twice as many, but you can).

@cstoneburner, I think all my issues with the coop all started when I noticed a pathing issue in my game that killed off 24 of my people.. they all starved because they got stuck in the pathing in front of my windmill, both in front of the windmill and behind and inside of it. I deleted my dirt path and they still kept going to the same spot and died of starvation. So i leveled that area, and they quit pathing in that spot..lol It was after that i noticed the coop issue.

So far i've had no more issues with the coop or pathing....

Pathing issues can screw up everything. If you hit it again send them a report. They've been good about sorting pathing issues before, but it requires their getting data about what is going on.
