I have never experienced this problem. Villagers can be stuck while using mods which are making foorprint of building smaller :steamhappy:
But maybe some players do?

But try to not place furnace on any of your villagers while building it, choose wisely place to build it :steamhappy:

I don’t think it has been fixed, however I only get it if I placed a road next to the watery part. If I leave a small space of 1 or 2 tiles they no longer walk close to the edge and topple into the water.

I had the same problem a few times and once I placed a fence all the way around it it never happened again. As @Sir Foxy pointed out I believe the problem is on the right side with the water. I believe there's a bridge piece there that's the culprit. I went ahead and wrapped the place with the fence for looks.

Yup still a problem.

Was just serching to see if anyone had experieced it. I guess i could have build dual roads had i known, or fenced it in. Oh well, time to remodel the place a bit.

The problem i encounter is that i only have a single road between the furnace and a tavern (modded small beerhouse) looks like they get bumped over there when there's too much trafic. The spot appears to be the opposite diagonal corner from the entrance to the furnace, they can cut the corner there and get stuck/bumped on a small wallpiece to the watergrave.

Do you use mods that removes fences? Beerhouse is made with fences

No.

Fairly sure it's because of too tight spacing between Beerhouse and the Furnace. Game tends to crash (and only then) as well, when too many get stuck in the furnace.

Gonna try to either turn the furnace a bit and fence it in. Or maybe turn the beerhouse 45 degree so the beerhouse entrance won't face the problem area. There is a lotta traffic to and from the beerhouse, which isn't optimal seeing things in hindsight.

Well, i do use quite a few mods in fact, so i can't say for sure they don't interact in some way.

The ones i use are:
Dairy - Material Shack - Small Shed - Hunting Camp - Crafting Table - Gatering Tent - Bread Oven - Butcher's Shop - Apothecary - Village Healer & Herb Garden - Smoke House - Wild Sheep - Carry More (x1.5) - Share the load - Wood chopping block - Blueberry - Small Beerhouse - Medieval Salthouse - Grinding Stone.
