Looking for a few mods. Please help.

Hi,

I have started playing the game again after many months. This time I'm trying to increase the overall speed of the gameplay. For a faster gameplay I am looking for two types of mods which reduce time taken to build a building and reduce time taken for a child to be born and then growing up to be an adult. Are there any mods which can do that?

Also there used to be a mod which would force villagers to use carry weight mods' value when they were taking food and firewood for use in their houses. For some reason it is not in my game anymore and I can't recall its name or find a similar mod on steam.

As to the last mod you mentioned it is currently out of order. An update a while back broke it and the game code didn't allow me to fix it. Haven't looked at it since the last update. I will be on vacation for the remainder of the year starting the 20 th of Dec. I'm going through my mods and will take another look at it then.

This is the mod. As I said, it's still not working at the moment.

Oh ok, no problem. The last request is of least importance. But is there no way to do the first two requests? I find it strange that nobody has even discussed this before (I couldn't find it in the search). Is it too hard to do?

Ok I found a mod called Citizens. It has many settings one of which is to reduce time take by children to become adults. So that's done. Still can't find a mod to reduce building time.

Nope that mod Citizens is not working. So back to square one.

Haruko, the community of active modders for this game is very small and for example I don't play with any mods that alters human behaviour and also for that reason I don't make mods that alters human behaviour, I can check it out but for now I'm working on few new projects and can't promise you making mods you asked for soon... but I will look at this issue

Ok great. I think if you manage to pull it off whenever you have time it would change how the game is played. Right now the gameplay is very slow and I think a lot of time is wasted in these two things.

Yeah I had that mod in mind but I ignored it because it doesn't do what I am looking for. But I will look at it again and see if it somehow increase the gameplay speed some other way.

JFC Utility will do that in the [Health Menu] Settings that can be changed..
(However, for a new Player; it may be asking for trouble
with all the JFC Setting available to that Player)

Link? Is that a mod?
I am not a new player I played for more than 100 hours last season. Then I gave it up and picked it up again this season. For some reason I have an urge to play this game only in winters XD

Building time is controled through the config for each building. It's not a general game engine timing thing. Rather daunting just changing the vanilla buildings. Then there are the mods with buildings. It would only require one simple line of code for each building. If you want to make your own mod I can give you an example line for a building. After that you can go through all of the script files for the buildings you want. You can alos add the lines to any other mod so you don't even have to make your own mod. Just keep a copy somewhere in case that mod gets updated.

Otherwise:
JFC from General info [People/Health Menu] Life span>Child, Teen, Adult, Elderly setting and dozens more.
You will have to place JFC as your first/Top MOD and that would scramble any Loadorder in an existing Save (Not usually good)

JFC [Environment/Construction Menu]
Changing Build Faster Times, Walk Faster and Carry More can be all problematic with the game; however, you can change to less Resources carried to site and Total Builders increased per job for that faster build time and not encounter any issues ;)

Basicly all changes are for the Vanilla Settings when JFC is in the Top/First (the lowest priority Placement) MODs are usuelly uneffected (USE AT OWN RISK)
I have used it for over 800 Hours, not one issue :) Although my changes were Passive

You can share your JFC Setting Porfile with others after you set it and if desired
