For sure I know you have at least one MOD that has not been supported or visited upon
in over a year :(

Half the mods I have installed are yellow starred....
I'll try uninstalling the food mod first I guess.
Ok, early game. start with gathering, because gathering in first 4-5 years is king. forget about fishing/hunting. After you get 5-6, maybe even 8 people gathering start farming potatoes like madman. grow your collony slowly.
make sure you have 10k vegetables at all times.
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGY in this game.
Distance kills, so make sure everything is close by or they gonna starve even if you have enough food.
PS: remove all mods that makes your worker work longer, like more wood, more something... because AI is retarded in forest village
Although if you remove MODs, it is strongly recommended you start a new game
The game I play is rearranging layouts and building pretty things. 90% of the mods I run are for more deco options and being able to see what I'm doing.
Here's what I'm running with:
Better Cheat Mod (Click button, get some types of resources)
Town Decorations
Material Shack
Deco Roof
Kitchen Garden
Food Mod
Village Healer and Herb Garden
Mine Insurance
Castle Kitchen
Tiny Fenceless Fields and Orchards
Big D Pack
Mother Nature
Jiz Falcon Changeit
Small Shed
Caravan Extended
Terrain Paint Patches
Builder's Yard
Guards! Guards!
Fishing Dock
Low and Med Stone Walls
Hunting Lodge
Free Build
Going to take out the food mod and Jiz, restart and see if that helps any.
I NOW never use MODs that change Settings, I change my own setting (Slightly) thru this one Utility:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1292213400
I set thru JFC:
Cows give 5 Milk, 3 Hides. Pig 1 Hide. Chickens give +1 egg
Blast Furness 9 Workers +7
Wind Mill 6 Workers +4
Bakery 3 Workers +1
Lumber Mill 4 Workers +1
Oak Tree 13 wood instead of 14 (SAVES SECOND TRIP)
Firewood x4 instead of x3
--------------------------------------
I only use MODs that add Content: Fenceless Farms, Houses, Buildings, Nuts and Berries, Kitchens, Dairy, Hunters Lodge, Hunter camp, Forester House, Stone Walls Town Decor
1 worker Chopping Block to have at every Barn; virtually every MOD that adds new Content.
Most Content MODs from: Megadori and Sir Foxy,
Fenceless Farms and Stone Walls from Cstoneburner
For Functionality I only use: Caravan Extended and Productive Teens
I stay away from New MODs (Less then 30) Days old. MODs that are unsupported or no recent posts. And most of all I stay away from MODs that just change Vanilla Settings!!! (Example: Produce More, Carry More, store more, build faster, walk Faster, run faster, grow more, grow faster, no miners die, live longer age; you got the idea.
If you have an issue at some point: It may be one of these 'just change Vanilla setting MODs'
Over a 600+ Hours and nearly 1000pop, with more then a few dozen updates (Zero issues)
1 minor Hotfix issue (resolved after restart)
Please excuse my English, not my native
I asked dev to rewrite this AI part, but as you can see its 10+ month and still we have same broken AI interaction with some mods.
Same goes with some odd AI decisions with resupply homes with materials, same timer issue. They gonna try once to eat and if he can't he just stand like whatever and die.
Its possible to avoid starvation but you must be smart about how you build your town. Think as you control braindead zombies ;)
That's so freaking stupid.... just one change! "If villager is hungry=stop action and go home!"
That would solve this entire mess. Another NPC could easily pick up whatever work is left unfinished.
Heck, one of my first games, the stupid villagers went home, then everyone starved to death. BOOM! Game over! All 9 dead because they wouldn't EAT.
There's not even an option to take over a villager and manually eat. Ugh this game... I guess I should just stop trying to get a "good" game and let them starve to death. A new baby'll be along soon to take their place. I'm just sad that my little module wasn't enough to keep them from being idiots.
and not one Crash in regular play
The main stay is: Baked Goods from Vanilla Bakerys
Supplemented by Stew and Oat Porridge from Kitchens. Cheese from Dairy's
Staples are: Bread, all Vegies and Fruit

Here's hoping :)
JFC is running with the vanilla settings so I have no idea how this happened. I suppose it's the Healer and Herb Garden's fault? Lol.
In the General Info UI: Load JFC Saved File and check a few of your parameters then resave and set Saved Profile as your default from UI or Launch/ MOD list options, thats it ;)
Try this; although best before any new game:
Load Screen/[Modifications] Untick all MODs but Jiz Falcon Changeit
Then exit and reenter Load Screen/[Modifications] go with that new sorted Loadorder by ticking/reenabling those MODs.
You may then Find Caravan Extended, Tiny Fenceless as well as other MODs in a much better position to start your game
-
General Note regarding Needed Pre-Req Master Files:
IF you use a MOD like Dairy, as I do: You will need to place it yourself after/below 'Nuts & Berries'
Gaurds, as I also use: Will also need to be after/lower then its Pre-Reqs (Craft Table, Kilm, etc
===============
I also use some of those MODs, but not listed here in any specific Loadorder (Perhaps close)
1: Jiz Falcon Changeit (Always Lowest possable priority as not to conflict with MODs
Low and Med Stone Walls
Smaller bridge settlements
Small Shed
Town Decorations
Material Shack
Village Healer and Herb Garden
Hunting Lodge
More houses
Builder's Yard
Castle Kitchen
Fishing Dock
Tiny Fenceless Fields and Orchards = imo: Best LIF-FV MOD for a great many reasons
Caravan Extended (Usually sorted last, Highest priority)
