Has Development Ended?
Seen nothing from the Devs for a while. Is the game done? Not even some DLC?

They are definitely still working on it. https://steamdb.info/app/496460/history/

They usually do one large update every 3-4 months followed bya bunch of bug patches (which is why so many mods have yellow icons - modders fix them then a bug patch comes out and even tho it has nothing to do with them theyare no longer, technically for the latest version, hence the yellow.) Given when the last came out I'd expect one in 6-10 weeks. They seem to prefer single larger updates to many smaller ones and it may just be easier not to get sidetracked by bug fixes, which given they are a 4 person crew is easy to have happen.

Thanks!

Mmmm. Nothing. What a pity.

If you look at the above link, the devs are clearly still doing things (last code upload was March 2), they just don't and never have been chatty about what they are working on.

I hear you - but I'm one of those people who like to see something tangible. But I'll keep the faith.

Well code deposits are pretty darn tangible. More so than chatter about what they are thinking of working on (for which you have no proof.)

Well, I'll agree to differ with you. The Devs are not selling code deposits - they are selling games to customers... with whom effective, professional communication (not "code") is the currency of good relations.

Do I think they'd do better being more communmicative? Yes, and I've said so more than once. However I'd much rather have a crew who wasn't talking but was putting out code than one who was talking big things and never doing it. In the case of small indie devs communication time is a big trade off, especially if the primary language of communication (English) is not the dev's first language. I'd rather get updates faster even at the cost of less communication. You may prefer to wait an extra week for code updates in exchange for more frequent blog posts.

We agree then.

Games are made up from code so the devs are selling code. :) They have already put quite a bit of work into this game and as cstoneburner has posted are still working on it.

Yes, let me be clear I think they have done a great job (my review on the product says so). But I respectfully disagree otherwise - they are not 'selling code'. That's like saying car makers are selling bundles of car components. Car makers market and communicate the car, the experience of driving and owning it, while the quality of their compentents and construction are a simply part.

Development definitely has not ended, but the devs are absolute crap when it comes to communication.

hope they dont abandon the game

I'm actually starting to wonder.... I posted in the technical subforum, and haven't seen any response from a dev or a mod....

they posted an update to that history link up there at the top about an hour ago, so, it looks like they are doing stuff :)
