I can send you my savegame if you want.
After much observation, my foresters do plant trees, but it's very, very rare. Most of the time these lazybones stay idle in their lodge, leaving it only to eat or to carry food / fuel in their house.
I begin to think that the Forester's lodge is useless. If I enable both Cutting and Planting, these simpletons cut more than planting (worse, they cut young trees instead of eldest ones first), leading to an area with much less trees than outside the area, which is ironic ! And if I enable Planting only, like I said they stay idle most of the time...
In fact, I noticed that if I leave the Forester's lodge without any worker, the area becomes a dense and beautiful forest.
What am I doing wrong ?
P.S. I know that the game is finished and that devs will not add content or features, only bug fixes in the upcoming update, but precisely I really think that foresters' behavior falls into the "bugs" category. In both wiki and official guide it is stated that foresters cut eldest trees first, which is common sense. Clearly something is wrong.
P.P.S Not a complaint, just observations and questions. Still loving this game !
Well, I guess that the "normal pace" is very, very slow then. I will live with that. :p
Noticeably: Logs are cheap to trade for ;)
