Multiplayer games, similar to LiF: Forest Village?

Are there any games like LiF:FW, but with coop-multiplayer?
I know Tropico 5, Civilization V, Anno 1701 and Anno 2070 have a kind of coop multiplayer, but are there any other games?
What I'm thinking of is a game where you build your own town or city. There shouldn't be for example only one kind of "farm" to produce "food" but a lot of different resources, like in Banished or also Stardew Valley, but with a little bit of survival.

It would be extra spicy if you can host a server and save and play the game on and on from time to time with friends, not only in one session like when you play a match of age of empires. Would be cool, but it's not a must-have.
