Replacing dlls etc shouldnt be necessary.
When you get a clean install exit steam
Then restart Steam go to Steam> settings top left Downloads and clear downloads and clear web browsing cache.
Steam may ask for a password to log in again do that then close Steam Client
Add Steam Client to your AV and firewall exceptions.
Then go to the Forect Village directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Life is Feudal Forest Village.exe r/click it and make a shorctut cut paste to desktop, r/click run as admin and use that launch it.
I had same issues when first installed LIF. this resolved it for me to launch game
I will never run Steam Client when playing LIF I feel it causes probs as other game get updates queued Steam Client itself is constatntly getting updates bug fixes.
Lets us know if you can launch it
