How to destroy/tear down a building

I built a forresters lodge that I don't need but there isn't an obvious way to remove it. Is there a hidden way somewhere or am I stuck with it?

You are not stuck!

Go to the menu at the bottom right of the screen.
Go to the button there that is fartherest left with two buildings in the icon (general information)
Go to the icon with the house with an X (toward the right).
Click on it.
Click on the building you want to get rid of.

Make sure you have builders to take it apart or it will just sit there. Also once you start destroying a building there is no way to stop it, so be careful where you click when you have that selected.

Pefect, thank you! As a recommendation to the crates call this out or putting it in an easier to find place would be helpful.

sorry but i try several times to delete a fish farm but nobody in the village want to destroy it, even if i got 3 builders

Hi there, you can easily destroy building in First Person View but it all depends on where this building was originally placed, please post screenshot from your game with fishfarm you can't destroy. "Water" buildings need proper access. Look at screenshot below:
