Donkey and Transporting stuff
I noticed my blacksmith and smelter were not working because they had no iron. They also complained about have run out of iron.

About 2 screens away I have over 1k iron in storage. Yet they don't go grab it.

Figured I have to manually setup a donkey to move it from 1 storage to the closer one.
I assuming the following

need 1 donkey per route
To get more donkey I need the donkey stable to breed them
I can only have a max of 5 active routes per station. As limit is 5 donkeys

Do you really got to setup these all manually? There is no guarantee the iron will get put in this remote storage again as the town grows.

Is it possible to set up something like get all iron from anywhere and bring here?

Would I need to do the same for food? Given pies & other food types are stored 2-4 screens away from some houses

Resource goes to the closest nonfull barn/warehouse from where it was acquired from. You can always manipulate where it goes, or use donkeys to do so. Food, iron, everything... It isn't hard, all you really need is a ton of barns everywhere, and a ton of donkeys multiplying in the donkey farm. This would evenly distribute or allow you to evenly distribute resource.

i not had much time to play with the donkey. (almost everyone died) I assume you might have.

Can you set limits on destinations? Like keep 50 tools & cloths in a barn? This way I can keep 4-5 remote barns stocked and have these items all made in a single location.
