Castle wall placement
The castle wall sections do not join up together which makes it look funny. The collision detection needs to be modified so the the walls are seamless

i haven't built any myself, but the regular fencing is made so that you put a post at the corners to fill in the gaps. not sure if the castle stuff was designed the same way.

If you try to put a castle wall next to the gate it leaves a gap. I don't think there is a filler for the wall

use SHIFT when placing walls
Partially build the castle gate and pause building. Place walls as he said using shift.. ellimintes that buggy gap. That's as far as I got atm. Made it seamless. Please correct I. Next patch.

use SHIFT when placing walls

Thanks! This was killing me softly before. Maybe you guys could add this as a piece of advice in the tooltip when you try to build the walls?
Or better yet make walls click and drag like paths, problem solved. lol
Use Shift. Well one day there might be a manual to explain all the little things that make life a bit easier.. Or is there one already
Shift works wall to wall.. but that keep entrance doesn't seem to snap seamlessly.. only had success in pausing its creation midway then snapping the walls to it then continue the build of keep entrance. Seamless.
I've had some success if you keep the shift down when you change from wall to gate or whatever. However what I'm not having sucess with (unmodded) is being able to get digaonal walls to place. It's actually WORSE with shift down than doing it inviduall, although there's almost a full square there.
The more I play this game the more aggrivated I get at how horribly incomplete it is and still having this listed as in full release.

Walls, using the Shift will get you seamless? but walls to gate wont? I can't get this piece to line up.

You do get seamless if you keep the shift key held down while you select others. Now admittedly the connection between the round towers and walls or gates itsn't great but there is no gap.

Or at least this is true as long as you are working at 90° angles.

I tried that, puased the gate half way, but came out like that, was going to ask, do you build the wall first, pause, then gate, or Gate, pause, Wall ?

** Edit

After some little trial and error, I deleted the gate, but left the wall piece in place, Using the Shift method I was able to place the Gate right up against the already built Wall seamlessly.

I paused the gate and shift placed another wall on the other side, seamless. So , with a little finess and some patience you can make it work.

try to build the wall first and then the gate... worked for me
Is it possible to connect diagonal walls to diagonally build keep? Or even connect diagonally build walls? I am trying to do that and it seems that no matter how carefully I trim the placement or whether I hold shift or not it always says "you cant build here". Any advice? Thanks
