How to beat 4th Island?
I have completed the first 3 islands and unlocked all from them. Also unlocked all the things from the 4th except for the bear. Now everytime I win the first island I directly go to the 4th one, should I repeat the 2nd and the 3rd island for more soldiers, or does that make the 4th island harder?? Any advice for the 4th island is appreciated!

having soldiers from a previous island helps a lot, but i don't know what it is that you find hard in beating the 4th island?

But if you're having problems in beating it, is better if you get some of the unlockables, Dog, Baker hermit and mount (i prefer a bear, unicorn or the armored horse) which will help a lot, i didn't have any of that when i beat the 4th island so i don't think the 4th island is that hard.

The only island that made me lose was the 5th, i focused too much in one side and the other has fallen for a blood moon.

How do you get more unlockables? Do you need to start a new game on the first map, go to the second map again etc...?

All the islands play, in essence, the same. The only real differences are: extra portals and bigger map. The former by itself not a big deal. The later on the other hand can be more dangerous because there is more room for extra stuff to appear but it may also appear in difficult places.

That said, anything that worked in previous islands, does work in this one too. You only have to adapt to a bigger map and probably not having everything readily available. Oh, and needing more time to complete it, which means having to face some more serious bloodmoons in late game.

You may have to run farther to be able to recruit or buff. You may face harder map to place walls or farms (depending of playstyle). But everything else is exactly the same.

I think the main difficulty is, that you're usually having only acces to 1 camp and no merchant to get money from. I'd try to chop many trees and see if you get some hare spawns, if not, quickly size up your kingdom and make some farmers + watermills. It's more expensive but better in the long run. And always get every single unit from the camp. Exploring for chests and better mounts (bear/elc for deer hunting helps out a lot).

What almost ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over when playing the 4th island for the first time was that my archers buff statue spawned behind one of the cliff side portals, so I had to first get really lucky to run past the portal while it was inactive, pump the statue full of coins, and then run back to my fort to send all my knights to take the portal down. Now I'm kinda worried that'll happen again on a second run through. :\ Usually I won't bother with the cliff side portals, but that statue's indispensable during later blood moons.

I find the builder statue to be more important than the archer statue.
If you have enough archers, you'l do enough damage, but if a couple of trolls arrive at your wall without having the builder statue active, it's likely going to fall...
