This comes in handy right after a Blood moon. Using the 25 coins in your pouch to finish your ship or send all of your Knights to attack, then completely refilling your coin purse at the Steward, and having another 25 coins to continue running your Kingdom / activate Shrines / etc.
But if you give the guy only one coin, he wont give it back on th other day. Why?
and as far as i noticed, if you give him one coin, he will return to you if you stop in front of him, like any other villager.
the short answer here, is that you cant.
i think maybe it is a design choice by the developer, so you couldnt take too much money to the new island and make things too easy.
so the complete pouch is the maximun gold you can get to the new island
Then you'll wish you invested in banking :p
