I think the games are basically the same (not compleatly sure on that) but new lands add some new stuff and more replayability

Is it important for me to play Kingdom: Classic first and then Kingdom: New Lands or is Kingdom: New Lands the same game with more content. I really want to start playing tonight so any advice is welcomed :)

Thanks in advance for the feedback :)

I would play New Lands since it has a ton of new content.

I would play New Lands. The Mechanics between classic and new lands are basicly the same (and this game is all about its mechanics), so you are better off with buying new lands immediatly.

I would go with Classic to get your feet wet, maybe after of couple of days (in-game) you can tackle New Lands, but that's just me though.

Pity the original has disappeared off the steam page, removing the choice

Not really. The original is included in the package if you purchase New Lands. According to this post by the devs: http://steamcommunity.com/app/496300/discussions/1/360671352680750214/https://www.google.com.br/#gfe_rd=cr

I have the original in my Library. I bought the Kingdom: Classic Royal Edition earlier today.

Thanks everyone for the feedback :)

No prob. Randy :D
Just bought Kingdom: New Lands, question regarding previous game...
Should I play the previous game first or is Kingdom: New Lands a expanded and better experience?

thank you.

I'm really looking forward to this, what I've seen on YouTube so far is really impressive.

In my opinion, New Lands is easier, while it has more unlockable stuff to help you run your kingdom, it’s more focused on moving the kingdom to New Lands, hence the name. Classic, while a tad more difficult, has the option to continue 1 kingdom indefinitely. But, it lacks a lot of the content found in New Lands.

Is playing the original worth it if you have both?
I own both kingdom and kingdom: new lands and i havent touched either yet, but i was curious if anybody had any opinions on whether or not it was worth spending time on the first game or if the DLC/sequel what have you was just better overall

kingdom classic is based on just one island, whereas kingdom new lands:

-is based on 5 islands

-has 9 mounts: the starting pink horse, the 3 superior horses (dark brown horse has less stamina but a bit faster, white horse is slower, but has much more stamina and black horse is faster and has a bit more stamina)

-enables you to change your blazon

-has 3 hermits (hermit of tide, valor and bakery)

-has a dog

-has loads of statues

-has the boat

-has different acheivments

-has a different soundtrack

-there is a merchant instead of a chest

and some other stuff

I like the ending for Kingdom more than New Lands ending.
Hopefully 2 Crowns will bring back this awesome ending.

New Land and Classic, what's the diffence?
Just got the game from humblebundle so i have totally no idea what's the difference between those two.

Classic was the original and was more focused on developing one area whereas New Lands expanded the content and gives you multiple islands to conquer.

Classic is good to start with to get a feel for things and extra appreciate everything we did with New Lands. No right or wrong way to play :)

No right or wrong way to play! You might end up appreciating New Lands more after you see what the original version was like.
