water mill is pointless?

Seriously, what does the water mill do? The farmers and builders go and hide in it at night but it does not protect them from the ghost/robber guys so they just get killed :(

I seems pretty self-explanatory. The longer the farmers spend farming, the more coins they'll make. When they have to walk back to the castle at night, they lose efficiency. The mill provides a place for them to stay and get right to work in the morning for maximum coin producing power.

I always build it only after I've secured my fields with a wall. Then it can be really, really helpful since the way to the castle may cost a lot of time.

If you upgrade to the Mill they will stay on farm even in night, so, if you dont have secured the place, dont upgrade mill and they will go to safety in the start of the night

The point is, if u build a farm too far from the castle he will spend the hole day walkting towards the farm and then turn back and walk back before night falls,
